The award season is seriously upon us, and it’s long, winding road to the end of February’s big show. The race has begun, and looks like The Artist is up to a roaring start. Beginners continues its run after its Gotham Awards win last night, and it’s nice to see more recognition for 50/50 and Drive, two of my personal favorites this year. The huge omission from this, though, is Shame, whose NC-17 rating may have taken it and Michael Fassbender out of contention.
