TV: HBO’s Girls Trailer

Judd Apatow has been the master of bromance, but with the summer’s critical and blockbuster hit Bridesmaids, it looks like he’s being a little more inclusive in his comedies. His next project teams him up with director-writer Lena Dunham (Tiny Furniture) for an HBO series called Girls. IMDB says it’s a comedy about the experiences of a group of girls in their early 20s. Sounds kind of bland, but based on the below trailer, it seems like Girls is this generation’s Sex and the City, where you replace the rich and flamboyant with the awkwardly endearing (see: Tiny Fey, Kristen Wiig).
